A strong tax resume should show volume, accuracy, and what your work saved or protected. Highlight returns prepared or reviewed per season, accuracy and review pass rates, client retention, deductions or credits found, provision close times, examination outcomes, and liabilities resolved. Name your credentials and software, because enrolled agent status, the CPA licence, and tax platforms are filtered on. State your role plainly, since a preparer at a firm, a corporate tax analyst, a senior analyst owning a provision, an intern with reviewed returns, a tax manager running a client portfolio, and an enrolled agent representing taxpayers are hired on different evidence. Use the examples below to see how to turn tax work into clear, results-focused resume achievements.
