A strong drafter resume should show how much you draw, how accurately, and what you built that made the whole team faster. Highlight drawings or sheets per year, first-check pass rates, field or shop error records, revision cycle reductions, libraries and templates you built, and the size and type of projects you support. Name your software and certifications, because CAD and modelling platforms and drafting credentials are filtered on. State your specialism plainly, since a multi-discipline lead drafter, an AutoCAD drafter automating production, a design drafter working on new products, a mechanical drafter detailing components for the shop, and a structural drafter producing construction packages are hired on different evidence. Use the examples below to see how to turn drafting work into clear, results-focused resume achievements.
